kstars-dbg software package provides debug information for the desktop planetarium for KDE, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kstars-dbg
kstars-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kstars-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kstars-dbg *
You will get with kstars-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
